"Concur helps streamline the process in the sense that we were doing one hundred percent audit, the receipts being sent in on, the paper receipt process was driving our processors up the wall. We have receipt imaging and we do a 10 percent random audit. It has made life so much simpler. The audit rules help our organization in the sense that before an employee can submit their expense report, they get three different types of, they get a yellow caution, they get a red flag, that red flag lets them know you cannot submit your expense report, you are out of compliance. That makes our auditing process a lot simpler. As a processor, our processors don’t have to look for those exceptions; they are automatically built into the system."
"Because of the audit rules automatically built into the system for travel, for expense reporting, they use the corporate card and they encourage the use of the corporate American Express card so that it feeds automatically at Concur. Everything is populated. One feature that they like, when you use your corporate card, you don’t have to keep up with receipts. Our companies policy is if you use the card its going to populate your Concur, you pop that into your expense report, get it approved by your management and you’re paid. They don’t have to submit a lot of receipts unless there’s out of pocket reimbursement which we don’t encourage but in the event that they do, we have a $25 threshold so it’s working beautifully so they only need a receipt if it’s $25 or more."

"The biggest benefit that I’ve seen is the quick turnaround on reimbursement, reimbursing the employee and paying our corporate card. When we get quick turnaround we get happy employees. Previously it was taking our former system up to three, four weeks out to reimburse the employees, which were unhappy employees. So their reimbursement is directly into their bank account, they go online or they contact their bank to find out their monies are reimbursed. Usually we do it by that Friday, the expense report is processed on Monday, Friday they see the reimbursement into their bank account, no complaints. Less calls to me, where’s my money?"

It makes life a lot simpler for the traveler, for the processor, for management, anybody looking at cost because you go to like one warehouse to get everything that you need, you don’t have to go to two or three different places to try to satisfy that reporting experience."
