Fusion 2010 BlackBerry Info

A mobile conference application has been created just for Fusion to allow conference attendees to have instant access to the agenda, session descriptions, and speaker information, as well as the ability to get details about Boca Raton via their mobile device. Attendees can access the conference app from their iPhone, BlackBerry® or Windows Mobile phones. The conference application will also allow you to download Concur Mobile, view agenda details and read updates from your peers about their experiences at Fusion via Twitter.

1) From your BlackBerry device, go to http://intro.pyxismobile.com/Fusion2010/deploy/

2) Press the trackwheel / trackball and select "Get Link" from the menu. After a few seconds, you should be prompted with a download screen with the "Download" button highlighted by default. Click the trackwheel / trackball again to install the Pyxis Mobile platform and application on your device.

3)Once the download is complete, escape back to your BlackBerry home screen. You should see a new Fusion 2010 icon in the upper left hand corner. Click on the icon. From the Fusion 2010 Login screen, type in your email address to login.

Note that the first time you log in, you might be prompted to allow an http connection to the intro.pyxismobile.com URL. If so, scroll to the bottom of the message, highlight the first "Do not ask again" checkbox using the space bar on the BlackBerry to check the box. Scroll back up and choose "Allow this connection".

The Fusion 2010 demo requires that you have a BlackBerry Browser visible on the BlackBerry home screen. If you do not have an icon named "BlackBerry Browser," please contact your system administrator and request that they enable MDS for your BlackBerry. Also, the BlackBerry Browser must be set as your Default Browser. You can confirm this in Options > Browser > Default browser configuration. Finally, you must be running BlackBerry OS 4.2 or later in order to view the demo.
